DESCRIPTION
Punctual interior design intervention.
Punctual intervention to create a separating element in the existing room under the sloping roof of a private home. With this intervention, it would be possible to give an independent use to the room, and to introduce a closed and bright working place.
The proposal wanted to avoid closing the space with blind partitions, instead it was looking for a permeable element. The resulting design was a simple and ingenious separating element that acts as a shelf-door. The large sliding door slides on the light-permeable shelf and achieves a fun distracting effect: “Now it is, then not.”
