The Catadau City Council (Valencia) already has the initial version of the General Structural Plan (PGE) and the Detailed Ordination Plan (POP) drawn up by AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP within the framework of the contract signed with the Valencia Provincial Council for this purpose. With this documentation and once the appropriate procedures have been carried out, the plenary session of the city council may agree to submit both plans to public exhibition and consultation for a period of forty-five working days. The processing and approval of the new general plan is essential and urgent for a municipality like this, which has endured the consequences of poorly conceived planning for more than forty years. That is why the revision of the plan responds to objectives of great strategic interest for the municipality, but will also allow for the improvement of local issues of lesser importance but equally aimed at improving the quality of life of the residents.
Catadau can conquer its future and for this to happen it is essential that the new general plan, on both levels, prospers. And that it does so as soon as possible, under the recently approved DECREE LAW 7/2024, of July 9, of the Consell, on administrative simplification of the Generalitat. This Decree represents a transversal revision of a large part of the Valencian legal system and should allow the unbearable processing times for general plans in the Valencian Community to be shortened.
