The Navajas City Council (Castellón), by plenary agreement of January 29, 2021, agreed to the final approval of the Puntual Modification number 2 of the Master Plan. This modification was promoted with the purpose of facilitating the expansion of the only teaching equipment that exists in the municipality. To do this, it was necessary to requalify a contiguous space, which in part will be used to expand the school and in part to a public square. Said space, in the current planning, is classified as a green zone. The surface of this green zone is relocated around a multifunctional, contiguous municipal pavilion.
Both the green area and the facilities are part of the primary or structural network of public facilities and are located in the central part of the consolidated urban land.
The final approval came after the favorable opinion of the Valencian Community Legal Council, mandatory when altering a green area.
The approval of this specific modification of planning has allowed the small municipality of Navajas to expand its school resources and improve its facilities, which will favor the establishment of the young population in the municipality.
