The Environmental Assessment Commission of the General Directorate of Natural Environment and Environmental Assessment (Valencian Government) in a session held on July 15, 2021 agreed to issue the Scope Document of the Strategic Environmental and Territorial Study of the Structural General Plan and Detailed Ordination Plan of Albalat dels Tarongers. With this environmental report, long awaited by the city council and the writing team (AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP) the way is cleared to tackle the next phase of planning, in which the determinations of the structural and detailed management will be detailed, in addition to including all the complementary documents and studies established by current legislation.
Albalat dels Tarongers is a municipality that presents a somewhat complex structure of the territory, due to the dispersion of its inhabited nuclei and the large number of existing houses in the southern part of the municipality, on mostly forest land and difficult to access. The main urban case presents several elements of heritage interest and a relatively simple urban structure.
