In the Valencian Community, as in the rest of Spain, there are many industries that have been operating on rustic land for decades, in a situation of inadequacy to the urban legal framework. This anomaly has its origin in the absence of land suitable to host this type of use and thus classified and qualified by the current planning, which at the time of the implantation of these companies was a simple Project for the Delimitation of Urban Land. The situation of inadequacy to urban legality affects industries of different scale and is especially pronounced in rural areas and in small municipalities.
Faced with the problem of the inadequacy to urban legality of many industries on rustic land, the Valencian legislator enabled an extraordinary regularization mechanism whose temporary period ends on December 31, 2021, date from which (if the norm is not modified ) it will be difficult to regularize this type of situation.
AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP has collaborated with different companies in their regularization, taking care of the preparation of all the necessary technical documents and advising them throughout the entire process, in order to achieve a complete adaptation of these activities to the law. In some cases, the industries were sole proprietorships, while in other cases they represent up to a third of the entire workforce in the municipality.
The lack of compliance with the law can have serious consequences for industries and endanger the existence of many jobs, which is why the Valencian legislator has done everything possible to offer a solution that has been accepted by a large number of companies. of the entire Community.
