The plenary session of the Cofrentes city council, in a session held on January 30, 2020, definitively approved the Point Modification No. 14 of the Master Plan. This is the last of the four specific modifications that AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP has written on behalf of the Cofrentes city council. The other three modifications, 10, 11 and 12, have already been approved by the city council (the first two) and by the Territorial Planning Commission of Valencia (the third) and are registered in the Community Planning Registry and published in the Official Gazette.
With the approval of this set of specific modifications, the Cofrentes city council has achieved an important series of improvements in its local planning, which will allow it to address in better conditions and with greater efficiency, the new challenges that it has posed, most of interest Social. The actions have been, in all cases, in line with the policy pursued by the General Directorate of Urban Planning and have been processed in accordance with the latest local regulations, including environmental and territorial evaluation by the municipal environmental body in three of them. This places Cofrentes among the first municipalities that have successfully activated this mechanism, achieving a more agile evaluation and processing, with the same legal certainty.
