The Territorial Planning Commission of Valencia, in session held on April 10, 2019, approved the Master Plan of Domeño drafted by AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP. The elaboration of this plan has involved more than three years of work, developed in intense and fluid collaboration with the city council. The final result is a plan that consolidates Domeño’s vocation as a substantial part of the “green lung” of Valencia, by providing an extension of 52 million square meters of forests. The urban proposal consolidates an urban model marked by self-containment of urbanized land growth and respect for urban design promoted by the creators of Domeño Nuevo. The municipality also stands out for the efficient and sustainable use of water resources, an aspect in which the municipality of Domeño is a national reference for the reuse of water.
