The counselor of Development of the Government of Castilla La Mancha, Agustina García, has presented the first prize of the Integral Urban Regeneration Actions (ARUIs) to the municipality of Alcalá del Júcar (Albacete), which presented the regional plan for the Integral Urban Regeneration of the Historic Center of Alcalá del Júcar (Albacete), written by AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP. The Ministry has highlighted the project, which has been outstandingly marked the three main lines of rehabilitation: architectural conservation, accessibility and energy efficiency. The prize has been collected by the mayor of the town, Pedro Antonio González, in the presence of the regional government delegate in Albacete, Pedro Antonio Ruiz, who also has then shared a working meeting with the general director of Urbanism and Housing, José Antonio Carrillo. The development councilor commented that it has been “the best valued project taking into account the benefits that will bring both the municipality of Alcalá del Júcar and its inhabitants.”
