In its commitment to involve neighbours in the participative development of the new territorial model of the municipality, the city of Alcalá del Júcar (Albacete) convened last Monday, December 5, a new Workshop on Citizen Participation in which, under the leadership of the architects of AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP, a large group of neighbors had the opportunity to learn about the actions that will be implemented in the future Master Plan for Integral Urban Regeneration of the Historic Artistic Complex of Alcalá del Júcar. With this master plan, the City aspires to be selected after the public announcement of a period open to apply for grants, regulated in the Order of the Regional Ministry of Public Works for the drafting of comprehensive urban regeneration projects in Castilla-La Mancha. This will allow the municipality to receive economic resources with which to promote the projects and programs contained in its master plan and which, by their amount, require After a brief introduction of the scope and purpose of the workshop by the coordinators of the PDSU and PEPCH, the participants conversed for over ninety minutes with the attendants on the contents of an open questionnaire containing up to five sectorial axes of action (promotion and preservation of the Heritage, sustainable territorial competitiveness, family reconciliation and social cohesion, economic promotion), developed in 67 projects. Precisely, the object of the Workshop was about its evaluation and the establishment of the order of priority attributed by the neighbors to them, to be transferred to the Master Plan presented by the corporation to the said call.
