A meeting with a numerous public attendance to a meeting at the House of Culture of La Salzadella (Castellón) was held by the mayor and the head of urban planning of AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP, Víctor García Gil, presenting the Master Plan that will soon be exposed to the general public. After a presentation lasting for one hour, the citizens attending the meeting had the opportunity to go directly to the technical head of the Master Plan and ask him questions of general character and interest. The debate went on for an hour, leading to a fluid exchange of views.
Note that this Master Plan was initiated in1999 by a different technical team which end to a deadlock, since the Environmental Impact Statement was issued (favorable but conditioned) and also a request was received calling for corrections of the same year.
The significant changes in legislation and social economic framework determined a significant reduction of developable land, a better and more complete classification of undeveloped land and a major expansion of the Catalogue of Protected Goods and Spaces.
Since AUG- ARQUITECTOS SLP was hired to draft the revised and final Master Plan, as we have said, this team has introduced significant changes and structural improvements. In just two months, the drafting team has made available to the Council the new wording of the Master Plan and related documents fully adapted to the current legislation and the framework that established said Environmental Impact Statements.
