After completion of the public exhibition of the version of the Special Plan for Protection and Internal Reform of the Historic Center of Torrent (Valencia) and the Catalogue of Protected Areas relevant to the scope of the Historic Center, a Progress Document of for the second phase of the catalogue has been delivered to the Council of for Documents. This new document reflects the main elements of interest that exist in the rest of the municipality and have archaeological, ethnological and architectural interest. Within this area the drafting team has distinguished in turn the following groups:
- Architectural elements of old type
- Architectural elements of widely varying typology
- Architectural elements of typology of second home
- Architectures historicist and rationalist style
- Architectures late-historicist style
- Architectures of vanguard of the second half of the twentieth century
- Architectures of vanguard of the firts half of the twenty one century
- Contemporary architectural elements of interest in new growth areas
- Religious Architecture
- Undeveloped land Nuclei of historical provenance
Among these deserve special attention the existing elements in Els Vedat as because of the uniqueness, quality and quantity of historicist and rationalist architecture, as well as some residential architecture of a collective type, and also the new urban sprawl.
