After a process of nearly two years, the autonomous environmental service has resolved the environmental and territorial evaluation of the General Structural Plan of Turís (Valencia) prepared by AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP. Thus ends a technically very complicated process, in which all the agents involved in the drafting, promotion and processing have had to find meeting points to resolve the environmental assessment of an instrument that orders a complex territory and subjected to a barely structured anthropization. The existence of a large number of urbanizations and hundreds of buildings scattered throughout the territory, in the middle of forest land or for agricultural use, linked by a network of paths and highways of different levels, determine the structural arrangement of this plan.
The resolution of the environmental service requires the incorporation of a series of final determinations, as a prior step prior to the submission of the plan to the Territorial Commission of Urbanism of Valencia, for the purpose of its final approval. These changes will make it possible to improve the model and fully adapt it not only to the different sectoral reports, but also to the different points of view and sensitivities with which the plan has been examined.
