The Todolella City Council (Castellón), with the support of PAMESA, has promoted an initiative aimed at the labor insertion of people from the Els Ports region, by setting up a company dedicated to the assembly of trencadis, a ceramic product that It will be made from the raw material provided by said company. With this initiative, it contributes in an imaginative and very effective way to the creation of job alternatives in an area in the interior of the province, seriously affected by the lack of job opportunities and depopulation. A project that just two years ago seemed impossible, has become a space where twelve people have found a job. In the near future, the number of jobs may be increased, up to doubling the current figure.
This initiative has been possible thanks to the support and involvement of a private company and the tenacity of the different people who have promoted it. AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP was required to prepare the urban and technical documents that have allowed municipal facilities, previously intended for storage, to be transformed for the new use. Working in close collaboration with the city council, the current planning was modified to adapt it to the new needs, the technical projects were presented and the necessary works were carried out, in a very short period of time.
