Architect Rosa Briso de Montiano García, of AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP, is the author of the exhibition design “A Magical Library”. Located in the choir of Ex-Collegiate Church of Santa Maria la Mayor of Rubielos de Mora (Teruel), the exhibition brings together a collection of books from the fifteenth to nineteenth centuries which reflect the progressive introduction of knowledge in areas that were formerly dominated by obscurantism and superstition. Through ingenious arrangement of a tent fabric, hung from the ceiling, it introduces visitors to a secluded and mysterious space, where books can be seen in an atmosphere of recollection, while sacred music fills the air. Soft lighting and projection on the dark background of mysterious medieval images, three projectors hidden, help to create a truly magical atmosphere.
