The City Council of Cortes de Arenoso (Castellón) has commissioned AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP to update the Cultural Section of the Catalog of Protections that the same company prepared at the end of the last century. The aim is to undertake a review that responds to the new legal framework and that incorporates a multidisciplinary perspective, necessary to address the heritage wealth of this municipality, small in terms of the number of inhabitants, but rich in the quantity and diversity of its heritage elements. Together with the professionals of the company, two specialists will collaborate, doctors in paleontology and archeology, who will develop specific protection for the elements of their respective specialties.
With this catalog, which due to its characteristics can be considered as a completely different work to that carried out 25 years ago, AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP will have produced 30 protection catalogs, of which 16 are definitively approved, 2 have a favorable report from the General Directorate of Culture and Heritage and 12 are in process or being drafted. This vast experience places the architect director of the proposed team and the company AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP in a leading position in the field of heritage protection in the Valencian Community and translates into the protection of thousands of paleontological, archaeological, architectural elements , ethnological and historical memory.
